I was curious whether this film would actually work. As someone who watches Formula 1 casually, I didn’t really know what to expect — but I was pleasantly surprised. F1 isn’t just about fast cars; it’s about calling, legacy, and staying focused when the world is noisy and full of distractions.
Brad Pitt, though older, still commands the screen. He brings an intensity rooted in experience.
His character showed that once you commit to a path, excellence isn’t optional. He embodied that veteran mindset: steady, disciplined, purposeful.
Damson Idris also held his own, and I appreciated how his character’s arc exposed the danger of chasing the spotlight and how it has the potential to steer you off-track.
The film challenged the idea that glitz and fame are the ultimate goals. Sometimes, obedience and focus are the very things that save you. You'll know the scene when you watch it‼
If I’m honest, the intimate scene was unnecessary, especially for the film's rating — it added little to the story and could’ve been excluded. But overall, the emotional depth, unexpected twists, and sobering consequences made it a memorable watch.
